Linear Motion is subchapter 2.1 in Chapter 2 of Form 4 Physics.

It’s a very long chapter and from my experience, many students dislike this chapter as they find it confusing.

In this video –  I will teach you a neat little trick to solve linear motion questions that require your knowledge on how to apply the 4 Linear Motion Formula taught in this chapter.

1) A student starts cycling from rest and reaches a speed of 12ms-1 in 6 seconds. The distance travelled by him is?

2) A bullet is traveling with a velocity of 400ms-1 before it strikes a cement wall. If it penetrates the wall with a depth of 4 cm before it stops, what is the deceleration of the bullet?

Here’s the video with the solution :)
